Policies

-please note that all items are vintage or gently used and may show small signs of natural wear.  any stains, tears or flaws are extremely rare but will be noted in description if they exist. 

-for your reference, the model shown in the try on photos usually wears a size small-medium in tops and a size 6 or 27”-28” in bottoms and is about 5’8”.  please click the chat button on the bottom right hand of your screen for any further questions about specific items.  

shipping 

-packages ship via the united states postal service to the address you have provided.  shop state and plain will reship your item item again if it is sent back to us because of an incorrectly entered address but buyer is responsible for extra shipping costs and will receive an invoice.  

-if you decide not to have the item shipped again, State and Plain will reimburse you for the cost of the item minus taxes and originally shipping cost.  

-orders are processed and shipping within 1-3 days.  This may be delayed because of weekends or holidays but we always do our best to have them shipped out as quickly as possibly.  

-tracking will be sent to the email address provided once the item is shipped.  -----please contact me with any questions regarding shipping and tracking.  

shop state and plain is not responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged mail because only the receiver of a package can report a claim with usps.  please contact usps directly and us with anyone questions regarding this.   

-refunds, exchanges and returns are not accepted unless there is a mistake of some kind on our side of things.  please check measurements carefully before ordering.  we make make exceptions in rare cases so please message us with any questions via the contact us button at the bottom of the homepage, or via the chat button at the bottom right hand corner of your screen.  

-at the bottom left hand of yours creen you will see a chat function pop up.  this is so that we can stay in as much contact with our buyers so please feel free to ask anything there.  if you do not recieve a response within three minutes feel free to message us on instagram or us the contact from on the website.  if you send a message and then exit out of the website we are unable to write back so make sure to keep your browser open while using the chat function,
